Marketing Tip for You to Use

The simplest, least expensive and most personalized insert you can add to customer packages is a handwritten thank-you card. A simple card, can be a really thoughtful gesture, that can help build loyalty. This can be particularly effective when first starting out, as it’s a competitive advantage that most larger scale companies can no longer compete with. Use this to your advantage.

  1. This is not about thank you cards, but the greeting enclosure..
In December my husband & I received anniversary flowers from a friend. The handwriting on the card was atrocious and barely readable. On the other hand, when we had a death in the family we were sent a cut fruit arrangement and the greeting was written on the computer generated work order. It was difficult to find and felt very impersonal. This was also true of a chain company’s gift basket that a colleague recently received. There is definitely middle ground here.
We take great care when hand-writing our greetings. During holiday season, for bigger orders where the cards are identical (“Seasons Greetings from XYZ Company”) we print computer generated cards that also fit into the greeting envelopes.
We strive to supply that personalized extra effort that you just cannot find from the big national chains. It’s one of the last remaining aspects that might sway a customer to choose us over them.
